Tanushikha Anant is a 23-year-old social worker living in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh, who has been working for SRHR in different programs for the last 6 years. She has volunteered with Nehru Yuva Kendra in the awareness program with the National Service Scheme between 2017 and 2020.
Tanushikha also trains girls in Judo Karate for self-protection. She has worked with adolescent girls aged 10 to 19 years in the villages of Rajgarh under the National Adolescent Health Program of the Health Mission. Here she has capacitated women with information on topics such as menstrual hygiene, nightfall, RTIs and STIs such as AIDS as well as advises young people to prevent drug abuse.
She has created a safe space for young girls where they can easily share their problems with her. She believes in providing young people with age-appropriate information on sexual and reproductive health to empower them. She also provides this information in schools and colleges. In 2023, she was selected for the year State Level Youth Mahapanchayat Bhopal.
