Mr. Sourav Saktel belongs to a middle class family of Howrah, West Bengal. His father is a Daily Labour and his mother is a home-maker. He is doing under-graduation from IGNOU with a Bachelor’s of Social Work. He is a Founder of an Youth Development Organisations of West Bengal called “Engaging Learning Creating”, which mainly works on engaging youth on life skills, and information on health and wellbeing.
Through the Feeling is Healing project, Sourav has conducted sessions with children and adolescents in government schools on child sexual abuse and menstrual health and hygiene.He is also the Co-Founder of AISKS Trust, an volunteering organisation working on community level behavioural change. Along with his social impact work, Sourav has 3 years professional experience as an Anchor, has been a fellow of Smile Fellowship of Pravah.
