Reshma Anil Kumar (they/them) is a queer YouTuber and Blogger from Kerala, doing their Master's in Gender and Development Studies. They like to express themselves through written words. They are working towards SDG5, especially LGBTQ+ rights, by sharing personal stories and empowering people. Being a part of YuWaah (Generation Unlimited India)'s Young People's Action Team (YPAT) 2022-23, Reshma expresses their passion about languages, books, climate justice, gender and minority issues.
Further, this DEI, SRHR and GESI enthusiast has been building on their knowledge and skills in relation to public policy as a Youth Leadership Fellow with the Centre for Public Policy Research, while volunteering with a number of LGBTI+ NGOs like the All India Queer Association (AIQA Foundation) and the QKnit Foundation.
Reshma makes it a point to advocate against misogyny, sexism and toxic masculinity as much as possible, even while battling their dysphoria and the added discrimination they face due to being born and bred in a different culture (Middle Eastern), and pass on those ideals to those around. They make it their goal to inspire people to share their stories and build bridges to connect people to one another, no matter their differences.
