Deepanjali Sahu is from Gotma which is in Nuapada district Odisha .She has been associated with Save the Children India’s ‘marriage no child’s play’ project for the past four years, training adolescents and youth on life skills and its linkages to SRHR and gender equality.
She has also served as an RKSK youth leader and peer educator, conducting awareness sessions and sharing information on schemes and services related to SRHR.
Deepanjali has organized multiple rallies to create awareness on these issues as well. She drives her advocacy through visual art and poetry. Deepanjali has received the Girls Safety Champion award in 2020 and young Changemaker Award in 2022, among other accolades for her excellent work.
