Beauty Kumari is from Patna district of Bihar. She has completed her graduation in Physics. For the last 5 years, she has been associated with the social organization Center For Social Equity And Inclusion (CSEI) and National Youth Equity Form (NYEF) and has been working on the post of Gender learning and Leadership Incharge.
She is working on the issues of discrimination, stigma-free, pleasurable and comprehensive sexuality education and dignified health with women in 11 Dalit communities in Dhanrua, Masodhi and Punpun block of Patna district. She ensured the enrollment of children of Manjhi community in the government school associated with the Dalit community as well as worked on strengthening the child parliament of the school through workshops with the Manjhi community.
At the same time, through workshops, I access the right information related to sexual reproduction with the teenagers of the Dalit community. To help women gain access to health facilities with dignity, I do workshops and do advocacy work with ASHAs, ANMs and female doctors.
